Warm Waxing
Whereas waxing used to be simply for the legs and eyebrows, it is now available for bikini lines (in all shapes), underarms, the back, abdomen, feet, hands, face, cheeks and earlobes.  It is now considered ‘the norm’ to wax what were once considered ‘unusual’ places.

Advanced Hot Film Waxing
This is more suitable for intimate and sensitive areas and uses a uniquely different and flexible 'Hot Wax' to grip to the hairs, rather than the skin.  This provides a less painful treatment on smaller areas of the body such as the face including eyebrows, upper lip, chin, sides of the face, and delicate areas including bikini, high leg bikini, Brazilian, Playboy and Hollywood.

Brazilian is a narrow bikini wax that includes waxing of both the front and back bikini areas.  Playboy is an extreme bikini wax that includes waxing of the front, underneath and back bikini areas, leaving just a small strip at the top.  Hollywood is the complete wax of the entire front, underneath and back bikini areas, leaving no hair.

The New York Nose Hair Wax Treatment
The latest waxing treatment to hit the UK is the removal of hair from the lower nostril area, using hard hot wax.  Although hairs in the nose are important for protection from airborne particles, the hairs on the wider part of the nostril become more noticeable with age and can appear to be unsightly.

The New York nose hair wax treatment involves removing the visible hairs, but without disrupting the hairs needed for protection.  Waxing is a far more effective alternative to trimming, which can blunt the hairs and leave them feeling even more coarse.

Threading
Threading is an ancient technique used to remove unwanted facial hair.  It is becoming more and more popular in the UK as an alternative to waxing and is available for the eyebrows, lip, chin and other areas of the face.

Threading uses a twisted loop of special antibacterial 100% cotton thread to trap and pull the unwanted hair from the root, making it a hygienic treatment suitable for almost all skins.  The facial area is often heat sensitive or irritated by wax, but with threading, no products are applied to the skin and therefore, the treatment causes minimal trauma and redness.

Eyebrow threading removes hair from above and below the brow line to give a much more defined appearance, creating a bold, natural shape.  The centre of the brow is tidied and the hairs remaining are trimmed where necessary to give a truly immaculate finish.  Threading can also be used on other areas of the face as an alternative to wax on skins that are heat sensitive or irritated by wax.

Re-growth is approximately 2-4 weeks depending on the individual and regular threading leads to finer re-growth.  Once you have tried threading on the eyebrows, you probably won’t ever want to go back to waxing.
