Eye Treatments*
Simple treatments for the eyes can make a dramatic difference to the whole face. From shaping the brows to eyelash tints and from eyelash perms to boosting eye pressure point massage, there are many eye treatments pampered too offers to bring out the best features.
The Importance of a Patch TestFor eyelash tinting and perming, it is important to have a patch test at least 24 hours in advance of the treatment, because the eyes are an extremely sensitive area of the body. A patch test is applied to the back of the ear or the crease of the elbow and any reaction will appear shortly after application. If no reaction occurs, it is safe to go ahead with the treatment but it is a good idea to retest every year.
Tinting - An eyelash tint offers a permanent colour to the eyes that eventually grows out with the lashes. It can be reapplied around every 6-8 weeks. A tint can be applied to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows.
Perming - An eyelash perm creates a permanent curl to the lashes that eventually grows out. An eyelash perm includes an eyelash tint to give the maximum eye enhancement.
Individual lashes - These are small clusters of lashes that are applied to the root of the eyelash to give the appearance of thicker, fuller lashes. They create maximum volume - perfect for any special occasion.
Boosting Eye Treatment (30 minutes)
The perfect treatment for tired eyes. In preparation for an eye mask, the face is cleansed and exfoliated, followed by an eye massage with pressure points to relieve tension and improve drainage. Whilst the eye mask is applied, the shoulders and scalp are massaged, finishing with an application of eye cream and face moisturiser. This treatment includes collagen products to rehydrate and restore the delicate eye area.
 Nouveau Lashes
Nouveau Lashes have been enjoyed by many thousands of clients in the UK, USA and Europe, including an ever increasing celebrity list. They have featured on programmes such as ’10 Years Younger’ and ‘Extreme Makeover UK’ and are responsible for much of the positive publicity generated through press and TV coverage. More controversially, Nouveau Lashes featured in the now banned L’Oreal advert, which made false claims about their ‘volumising’ mascara range.
 Nouveau Lashes offer longer, thicker lashes twenty-four hours a day and can last as long as the natural lash to which it is bonded, which can be up to two months. They are made of a soft, naturally curved synthetic material that are designed to bond to human lashes with absolutely no damage to the natural lashes.
Nouveau lashes differ from traditional false lashes because they are soft and weightless rather than feeling heavy on the eyelids. The application is unique as it does not touch the skin, only the lash to which it is bonded, rather than strip lashes that are applied direct to the eyelid. The lashes appear totally natural, with up to sixty lash hairs rather than false lashes in a strip or clumps of lashes knotted together.
The lashes are available in various lengths and are applied to suit the individual and their eye shape, so the number of lashes applied varies from person to person. This depends on the length of their natural lashes, the shape of the eyes, how deep set the eye sockets are and how many lashes the individual actually has. Some clients may wish only to have false lashes on the outer edges as a subtle enhancement, while those with short lashes may want a more dramatic appearance with a Nouveau lash applied to every eyelash.
Maintenance is required every two to three weeks, similar to a nail treatment infill. As the lashes naturally shed, the semi permanent lashes shed with them, causing absolutely no damage to your lashes and eyelid. An infill can be anything from 15 minutes to simply replace the Nouveau lashes where new eyelashes have grown through, maintaining a thicker fuller appearance.

Removal of Nouveau Lashes
Once bonded, the lashes have a strong hold on the natural lashes and only usually come away as the natural lashes shed over time. If you decide the lashes are no longer for you, it is important to make a return appointment for a safe removal without pulling the natural lashes away. The Nouveau Lashes are released with a specially formulated remover and the natural lashes are treated with a collagen lotion to leave them conditioned and healthy.
